About the Team
Amit Deshpande
Founder and Managing Partner
Amit Deshpande is the Founder and Managing Partner of Kinetic Venture Partners. He has a 9-year career spanning Finance and Technology (Product Management).
During his career so far, he:
Led valuation and deal execution for $15bn+ of M&A, IPO, and private capital deals across the Technology, Business Services, Industrials and Consumer industries while at J.P. Morgan
Grew end-market revenue by ~5x by establishing a strategic product roadmap and building high-value, industry-specific functional software improvements during his time at DealCloud/Intapp
Launched AI software feature from 0-1 in 6 months, impacting 85% of the client base, and contributed to 50%+ of revenue in contract renewals with the largest strategic clients at Tegus
Over the past 20 years, he has watched his father start and grow a professional services business, which has instilled in him a deep appreciation for entrepreneurship, and the challenges of operating and scaling a family-owned business.
Amit graduated from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business with a BBA and B.S. in Economics.
In his free time, Amit likes cooking, horology, working out, playing tennis (or any outdoor sport) and hiking new trails in the NY area.
He grew up in Singapore, Netherlands, Hong Kong and the US.
